Q&A

Shown below are some frequently asked questions. Please contact us if you would like more information.

Do I have to sell my current house in order to build a new home?

In certain circumstances you do not have to sell your existing home before building. You can get more information by contacting an independent mortgage expert. We recommend Monica Hamlin at Washington Financial or Lisa Clore at the Washington office of Community Bank.

Can I purchase a lot now and build later?

We do not pre-sell lots. When you are ready to build your new home we will be happy to show you the lots that are available at that time.

What if I want to make some changes to one of the floor plans that you offer?

Every home we build is the result of a customized floor plan.

Will you build from plans that I have?

We would be happy to review your plans and discuss the option of building from your plans.

How long will it take to build my new home?

Our build timeline may vary depending on a number of factors (time of year, lot, home selection, change orders), but it is generally 7-8 months from the time of closing.

Do you have any houses for sale that are already built and ready to move into?

We usually have a home under construction that is available for quick completion. Call us to see if we currently have any available homes or click here for more information.

What is the price per square foot?

Because we customize each home, and there are many variables in product choices made by buyers, we prepare a budget for each home based on individual selections. The general price range of homes in our community is $320k to over $600k, including the lot.

What if I want to make a change after signing the contract to build?

We understand that customers occasionally change their mind about selections they made prior to construction. We do our best accommodate any change requests made after contract signing.
