Lewis and Cherie Keith display their North Franklin Township Extra Effort Award

Keith Homes was honored Wednesday, August 21st at the North Franklin Township Supervisors Meeting with the township’s “Extra Effort” award for Keith Homes’ work in the township. The Supervisors cited Keith Homes’ development of Sycamore Reserve and their commitment to improving the quality of life in the township while bestowing the award on Keith Homes.  The award was presented by township supervisors Alex Migyanko & Dennis Dydiw  and was accepted by Lewis & Cherie Keith on behalf of Keith Homes.

The national real estate market may be tanking, but local developers say they are finding ways to appeal to customers by building more energy-efficient homes, selling properties with the mineral rights intact and constructing upscale developments.

Niche builders continue to erect gigantic, multi-million-dollar homes in quiet enclaves south of Pittsburgh, especially in areas such as Washington County, where vast tracts of farmland are being converted into luxury estates with homes as large as 55,000 square feet — the size of the White House. Keith Homes Honored at BASF Builders Challenge Awards Ceremony

KEITH HOMES HONORED AT BASF BUILDERS CHALLENGE AWARDS CEREMONY
Recognized for Completion of Energy Efficient Homes on DOE E-Scale

Keith Homes today announced that it received a certificate of recognition at the first BASF Builders Challenge Awards ceremony during the 2009 International Builders Show in Las Vegas, NV. The certificate was presented to Lewis and Cherie Keith by Ed Pollock, Building Residential Team Leader, Building Technologies Program and DOE’s Builders Challenge program for completion of two homes on the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Smart Scale (E-Scale) in 2008.
